Step-by-Step Instructions for Air Fryer Poached Eggs
- Spray each ramekin with cooking spray, then pour 3 tablespoons of water into a 6oz ramekin (or 2 tablespoons for a 4oz ramekin). Set up on the air fryer basket.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the ramekins inside the basket and heat for about 7 minutes.
- Carefully remove the ramekins and crack one egg into each, making sure not to break the yolk. Lower the temperature to 360°F (182°C) and set the timer for 4-5 minutes.
- Check the firmness of the whites and the doneness of the yolks after 4 minutes. For runny yolks aim for 4 minutes, for firmer yolks leave for the full 5 minutes.
- Remove the ramekins from the air fryer and use a silicone spatula to loosen the edges of the eggs. Drain any excess water if necessary.
- Gently lift the poached eggs from the ramekins, allowing any remaining water to drain off. Serve on toast, salads, or breakfast bowls; season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with chopped chives.

Notes
Use fresh eggs for best results and monitor cooking time closely as air fryers may vary in performance.
