  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Use vegan mayo if needed
  • 1 large Egg Can omit for allergies, use extra mayo instead
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko recommended for crunch
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning Or substitute with cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chipotle Sauce Or use adobo sauce for heat
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • Cilantro or Parsley/Green Onions Finely chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the shrimp by peeling, deveining, and butterflying them, leaving tails intact for presentation.
  2. Season the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, Old Bay, sea salt, and black pepper.
  3. Make the stuffing by whisking egg, mayonnaise, and chipotle sauce, then fold in the crabmeat and breadcrumbs.
  4. Stuff each shrimp with about a tablespoon of the crab mixture, folding the tail back over.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange stuffed shrimp in a single layer in a skillet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until shrimp are opaque and stuffing is golden.
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan and add minced garlic. Allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Serve shrimp with garlic butter, lemon juice, and optional fresh herbs.
