- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Carefully slice the chilled brie cheese into 24 half-inch cubes.
- On a floured surface, unfold the puff pastry and roll it into a rectangle of approximately 10x15 inches. Cut into 24 squares.
- Press each pastry square into the wells of a mini muffin tin or arrange them on your baking sheet. Place a brie cube in the center of each square followed by cranberry sauce and nuts (if using).
- Whisk together one large egg with a splash of water to create egg wash. Brush the edges of each pastry square with the egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes on a wire rack and garnish with honey, sea salt, or fresh herbs before serving.
