Instructions for Buttery Cheese Garlic Rolls
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F). Cut the top off a whole bulb of garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Bake for about 2 hours until soft and caramelized.
- Combine warm milk, active dry yeast, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, bread flour, milk powder, remaining sugar, and salt. Add softened butter, egg yolks, and the yeast mixture. Mix and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Transfer the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1.5 hours or until doubled.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread roasted garlic and melted butter, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese. Roll tightly and slice into equal portions.
- Place rolled slices on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let proof for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
