  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter for sautéing apples

  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuit Dough
  • 12 pieces Caramel Candy
For Finishing Touches
  • 1 tablespoon Melted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon Sugar optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet. Add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; sauté for about 5 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit slightly.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of the apple filling in the center of each biscuit and add a piece of caramel candy on top. Seal the biscuit tightly.
  5. Shape each filled biscuit into a ball and place seam-side down in the greased baking dish.
  6. Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Check for a lovely color.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally with caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream.
