  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko for extra crispiness or gluten-free alternatives.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter and add sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Boil water in a pot and cook pasta according to package instructions (8-10 minutes). Drain and return to pot. Add sautéed mushrooms and cooked chicken.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine Marsala wine, cheese, and breadcrumbs. Pour this mixture into the pasta and chicken pot, stirring to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the mixture in a greased casserole dish, pressing down gently. Sprinkle additional cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden. Optionally broil for the last 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
