  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Low-fat cream cheese can be used
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt is a healthy substitute
  • 1 cup Shrimp Coarsely chopped, reserved some for garnish
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Can substitute with chives
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning Adjust to taste, or substitute with paprika and celery salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1 tsp Lemon Pepper Fresh lemon juice can be used
  • to taste Salt Adjust to taste
  • to taste Hot Sauce Optional
For Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Reserved Shrimp For garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Coarsely chop the fresh shrimp, reserving some for garnish.
  2. Mix cream cheese and mayonnaise in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, lemon pepper, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the green onions and shrimp until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with reserved shrimp.
  6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
