Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 7-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the cooked beef, stir until evenly coated, and cook for another minute.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to the greased pie pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy whipping cream, eggs, chunky salsa, and garlic salt & pepper until smooth.
  6. Pour the cream mixture over the beef in the pie pan, then sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  8. Let the pie rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
