  • 1 cup Diced Yellow Onion Can replace with green onions

  • 1 lb Sausage Turkey sausage or bacon

  • 2 cups Dairy-Free Cheese Optional, can substitute with dairy-free cottage cheese
  • 6 large Eggs
For Moisture and Flavor
  • 1 cup Dairy-Free Milk Almond or oat milk works well
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
  2. Evenly distribute thawed hashbrowns in the bottom of the dish, pressing down lightly.
  3. Cook the sausage in a sauté pan until browned, about 5–7 minutes, then spread over hashbrowns.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, dairy-free milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the casserole and top with remaining dairy-free cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 45–55 minutes until fully set and golden on top.
  7. Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing and serving.
