Ingredients

For the Pudding Layer
  • 1 package Chocolate Pudding Mix Use instant pudding for quicker prep.
  • 2 cups Whole Milk Can substitute with almond or soy milk for lactose-free options.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Crushed Oreos Substitute with chocolate wafer cookies for a different flavor.
  • 4 pieces Fresh Strawberries Choose firm strawberries for the best presentation.
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Melting Wafers Chocolate chips can be used if melted properly.
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Food Coloring Optional if using colored chocolate wafers.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Parchment Paper
  • small cups

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and cold whole milk. Whisk vigorously for about 2 minutes until well blended and thickened. Let sit for approximately 5 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add the white chocolate melting wafers and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted. Add orange food coloring and blend until vibrant.
  3. Dip fresh strawberries into the melted orange-colored chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place dipped strawberries onto a parchment-lined tray to set.
  4. Grab small cups and spoon the rich chocolate pudding into each until halfway full. Sprinkle a layer of crushed Oreos on top to imitate dirt.
  5. Finish by placing the chocolate-covered strawberries upright on top of the Oreo layer to resemble carrots poking out of the dirt.
