  • 2 ounces heavy cream for a dairy-free option, substitute with full-fat oat milk or coconut cream

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, honey or maple syrup, molasses, fresh ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until honey dissolves. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and let cool before straining.
  2. Rim your glass by dipping it in gingerbread syrup, then in the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Set aside.
  3. Fill the rimmed glass with ice. Pour in vodka, Kahlúa, and gingerbread syrup. Stir gently until combined.
  4. Layer heavy cream carefully on top by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the cream and add a mini gingerbread cookie for garnish.
