  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 4 cups Lettuce (romaine or iceberg) chopped
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced or halved
  • 0.5 cup Onions (red or green) sliced
  • 1 bag Doritos Classic Nacho Cheese flavor
  • 1 cup Dressing/Sour Cream ranch, salsa, or lime vinaigrette

  • 1 each Avocado sliced
  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat, add ground protein, and cook for 7-10 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over browned meat, stir well, and cook for another minute. Set aside to cool.
  3. Chop lettuce, dice tomatoes, and slice onions on a cutting board.
  4. Layer salad in a mixing bowl: lettuce, seasoned protein, tomatoes, onions, and Doritos.
  5. Drizzle dressing over the salad, toss gently, and serve immediately.
