Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Thaw the shrimp in cool water for about 15 minutes, peel and devein, then pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine shrimp with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, half the garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes. Marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add remaining olive oil, and cook shrimp for 1 to 1.5 minutes on each side. Remove and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add remaining garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Pour in wine (or stock) and lemon juice, and let simmer until reduced by half.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, stir to coat in sauce, add remaining butter, and heat through for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
