- Preheat your oven to 190°C Fan / 210°C / 415°F / Gas Mark 6.
- Cook your chosen bacon until it reaches your desired crispness, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Roll out your puff pastry and cut it into six equal squares.
- Place bacon strips diagonally across the center of each pastry square and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Fold corners of each pastry square to create a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the surface of each turnover.
- Arrange the turnovers on a lined baking tray with space between them.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
