  • 3/4 cup sugar of choice coconut sugar or date sugar are healthier alternatives
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Dutch-processed recommended
  • 1/4 cup ground hemp seeds can be replaced with other ground nuts or seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate sauce for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup coconut whipped cream for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a 9"x6" baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the cooked sweet potatoes, ripe bananas, and plant-based milk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together ground oats, cocoa powder, sugar, ground hemp seeds, baking powder, and optional cinnamon. Whisk thoroughly.
  4. Pour the dry ingredients into the food processor and blend until a sticky batter forms.
  5. Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top.
  6. Bake the brownies for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 20 to 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
  8. Optional: Drizzle with vegan chocolate sauce or serve with coconut whipped cream.
