Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. Melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted Irish butter and brush half on the inside of a 9x5 loaf pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Stir in the shredded Irish cheddar cheese until well-coated.
  5. Pour 12 ounces of Irish beer into the dry ingredients and mix gently until combined.
  6. Transfer the batter to the loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Melt 2 tablespoons of Irish butter and mix with parsley and garlic powder for the topping.
