Preparation Steps

  3. Prepare the Baguette Slices: Slice the baguette at a 45-degree angle into half-inch pieces and brush each side with olive oil.
  4. Grill the Baguette: Grill the baguette slices for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Increase Grill Heat: Crank up the heat to high, aiming for about 450-475°F.
  6. Season the Beef: Generously season both sides of the beef tenderloin filets with salt and pepper.
  7. Grill the Beef: Grill the beef tenderloin for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until it reaches an internal temperature of 125°F for medium-rare.
  8. Rest the Beef: Remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
