- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- In the mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Add half of the French fried onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until creamy.
- Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Transfer the mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling and the center is hot.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions on top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes until topping is golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
