  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter Adjust salt if using salted butter.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh minced garlic preferred.
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice Also includes zest.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley Garnish; can substitute with dill or green onions.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting your salmon fillets dry with paper towels, seasoning both sides with kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a medium oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip fillets and sear for another 2-3 minutes until browned, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant, then mix in lemon juice and zest.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until thickened and adjust seasoning. Drizzle over cooked salmon and garnish with parsley before serving.
