  • 1 pound Ground Beef or ground turkey or chicken
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce preferably low-sodium
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar or honey/agave as substitute
For the Veggies
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper or other color peppers
  • 1 medium Zucchini or carrots/asparagus
  • 1 cup Mushrooms any variety
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil or vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or any neutral oil
  • 2 cups Steamed White Rice or brown/cauliflower rice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and chop all vegetables, mince the garlic, and prepare the soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar.
Cooking
  1. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Mix in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar, simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  3. In another pan, heat olive oil, sauté garlic, then add mushrooms, zucchini, bell pepper, and broccoli, stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  4. Assemble bowls with rice, top with beef mixture and sautéed veggies. Drizzle with soy sauce if desired.
