- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork or beef, breadcrumbs, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, egg, and sesame oil. Mix gently until just combined and form into 16-20 meatballs.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Brown meatballs on all sides for about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to plate once browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water to the skillet. Whisk together and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
