  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Can substitute with ground chicken
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Grated
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce Use gluten-free tamari to keep gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice Adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
For the Peanut Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Natural preferred
  • 1 tbsp Honey Can substitute with maple syrup for vegan
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Optional, adjust for heat preference
  • 2 tbsp Warm Water To adjust consistency
For Assembly
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Use gluten-free buns or lettuce wraps
  • 1 cup Vegetable Toppings Carrots, Cucumbers, Red Onion

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, cilantro, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide the turkey mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Lightly oil the surface to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and optional sriracha. Gradually add warm water to reach desired consistency.
  6. To assemble, spread peanut sauce on the bottom half of each bun, add a turkey patty, more sauce, and top with sliced vegetables.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra peanut sauce if desired.
