- Preheat your oven to 425ºF (220ºC). Gather all your ingredients and tools, including mixing bowls and a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, aluminum-free baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Cut cold unsalted butter into small cubes and add to the dry mixture, working it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually pour in your choice of milk, mixing just until a cohesive dough forms. Add more milk if necessary.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently press it down to about 1½ inches thick.
